The London Inn offers simple and basic accommodation at a low price and is located in the Charlton Kings district, east of Cheltenham City Centre. The inn is close to the Dowdeswell Reservoir and Nature Reserve where visitors can view wintering wildfowl and various wild plants native to the area. The Cotswold’s Way (a national walking trail) runs close to the Inn making it an attractive stopping point for walkers. Cheltenham city centre is a short drive away and the low cost of the rooms may appeal to travellers looking for a city break on a budget.

Accommodation

The London Inn was built in the 1830s and the accommodation is decorated in a traditional manner that is in keeping with the age of the building. Rooms are small but well equipped. Some are en-suite whilst others have private bathrooms. Included in each room is a television, a desk, a hospitality tray, ironing facilities and trouser press, and a hairdryer. A larger family en-suite room is available that hosts a double bed and a single bed. Cots are available for younger children.

Restaurant and Bar

As the London Inn is also a public house, guests can choose to unwind in the bar which provides the classic British pub atmosphere and a good selection of real ales are on offer. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are all served in the pub’s restaurant area, though it should be noted that breakfast is not included with the cost of the room. The food is classic British “pub grub” and Sunday lunches are also served. Portions are generously sized ensuring diners will not leave feeling hungry. Outside there is a beer garden for relaxing in during the summer months.
