With its vast Corinthian style columns, high coffered ceilings and Baroque design, the Cheltenham Town Hall is an exquisite location host to a number of events. Built in 1902, the building was designed by architect, Frederick William Waller, and was created in order to provide Cheltenham with an exceptional venue for all of the social events in town.

The hall has the capacity for one-thousand people and is currently used for events such as concerts, conferences and banquets. The hall was even once home to the Central Spa that provided visitors to Cheltenham an opportunity to taste the Cheltenham Waters. Despite this change, the hall still retains original features from when it was first built, such as the octagonal counter.

Music, comedy, dance and drama are all featured in the Cheltenham Town Hall, along with exhibitions, product shows and discos. There are events held most weeks with a full calendar available on the Cheltenham Town Hall’s website. The hall hosts a number of talks and performances during the town’s famous festivals, and the building’s grand design and heritage give audiences a truly unique experience.

Event-goers can enjoy pre-show refreshments and meals in the Town Hall’s Regency Café, where for around £10 an “event special” can be enjoyed, including items such as a “Curry and a Pint” or “Antipasti and Wine.”
