The elegant Georgian Douglas House is located in the centre of Cheltenham close to the Promenade, the Parabola Arts Centre and the Imperial Square and Gardens. The building is host to a number of one and two bedroom apartments available to let for short term stays and offers good value for money, particularly for families and groups.

Free parking is provided on site at Douglas House. There are also many bars and restaurants, which are just a short walk away, making these apartments ideal for travellers wishing to explore the centre of Cheltenham and experience the city’s lively night life.

Accommodation

Inside Douglas House, guests will find original Georgian features combined with clean and simple décor and furnishings. TVs and DVD players are provided in each apartment and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Kitchens are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, utensils, an oven, a microwave and a kettle. A dishwasher is also included for your convenience and some tea and coffee is provided free of charge.

It should be noted that due to this being a Georgian building, there is no lift available and access to the apartments is up flights of stairs. Some apartments are split level, as well, so Douglas House may not be suitable for those with mobility problems.

Children are welcome in the apartments and cots and fold out beds can be provided if required. Pets are not allowed.

A security deposit of £250 is payable upon arrival and is refunded at the end of your stay subject to a property inspection for damages.

Additional Facilities and Services

Guests of Douglas House are provided with passes that provide free access to the Fitness First Platinum Health Club. This includes use of a pool, steam room, sauna and gym. Please note that children under 16 are not permitted in this health club.
